Cheryl has missed the Dollar stores they have in Houston. One day while driving down Saratoga Ave. We spotted a DollarMax store next to Walgreens at Payne. It is a store where everything is either a $1.00 or 2/$1.00, 3/$1.00 or even 4/$1.00.

 A few weeks later we also ran into another Dollar store next to Safeway at the corner of Miller and Bollinger. Both of these stores are about double the size of a 7/11 store.

 Around Thanksgiving-2003 the Dollar Club opened in nearby Campbell next to the D&J hobby shop on Campbell Ave. They claim to be 25,000 square feet. About the size of a small grocery store or a Wallgreens drug store.
