This was my 1977 Lancia Beta Coupe Scorpion. Lancia is a division of Fiat and this car was originally designed to be the Fiat X-20 as a follow up to the smaller Fiat X-19. In fact the instrument panel had X-20 printed on its circut board.
This is another car I wish I had the money and room to have kept. Even if finding parts for it would be next to impossible. Either way it was a blast to drive. It's near 50/50 weight loading made this thing corner very well. I even learned to drive a stick shift so I could buy this car.
Here is a very short wmv video of TopGear's take of a right hand drive European version.
